Bishop Oliver Dashe Doeme of Maiduguri, Nigeria, whose diocese is plagued by Boko Haram militants, is speaking at a Divine Mercy day of prayer at Westminster Cathedral tomorrow. The day, which starts at 9.30am, includes time for Adoration.
Laity urged not to let conscience grow dull
Bishop Richard Moth, of the Diocese of Arundel and Brighton, has urged the laity to take action on poverty. In a pastoral letter he urged Catholics to ask: “Has my conscience grown dull in the face of poverty?”
