Non-selective Independent Catholic
Preparatory Day School, girls aged 3-11, boys aged 3-7
Approximately 200 on roll

Required from September 2018 or before

Due to the retirement of Mrs Stephanie Bell after twelve years of exceptional service, the Governors seek to appoint a loving, forward-thinking, innovative and visionary leader with a proven background of leadership and senior management in the Preparatory/Primary sector. The successful candidate will embrace the special ethos of the school and take it into the future.

This role requires someone who is a practising Catholic. The Governors are looking for a sound educationalist and outward-facing ambassador, who delights in and nurtures every single member of the School community as part of the ‘Rydes Hill Family.’

Founded in 1945 by the Daughters of Mary and Joseph, the ownership of the School was transferred to a Charitable Trust in 1989, established by parents for the primary purpose of providing an education for Catholic children. Rydes Hill Preparatory School, located in an idyllic setting on the outskirts of Guildford, welcomes children of all denominations, faiths and cultures whilst remaining true to its Catholic identity. This ethos rooted in the Gospel values has created an exceptional, well-balanced and warm school where children are given the very best start to enable them to grow up to lead fulfilled and happy lives.
